As a mixed Muslim family when my husband wasn’t born in America and neither was I. my husband and I have plans to discuss this with our children. Especially because of the way America is. Especially when our daughters wear hijab. It’s so important to have these real conversations with your children and hats off to the both of you for acknowledging that! Everyone is different that is what makes life so beautiful!
